Mould Making For Design & Mass Production (3 hours)

This essential skill not only allows you to mass produce your designs but also opens up infinite possibilities to your design process as well as dramatically increasing your productivity and efficiency. As well as mould making, you will also learn the basics of wax injection.

Don’t overlook this process!

Bring a tub of pinkysil fast set silicone rubber (500g-1kg) as well as some items to mould. These may be other pieces of jewellery, twigs, shells, insects etc.

• Learn to prepare and pour moulds for a variety of different object types through making 4-5 moulds
• Learn how to cut moulds open
• Learn how to modify your moulds to maximise the success of your wax injections
• Learn how mould making can be used to create new designs and increase your efficiency and productivity

• Mould making can be a challenge depending on the object you are moulding. We are always here to guide you through those tricky to mould items.
• You are welcome to continue with ongoing sessions as and when required so you can continue to grow your skill set.
