Description
Finish metal castings of your wax pieces
This course introduces you to the tools, materials and essential techniques of finishing the metal castings of your wax jewellery pieces. We cover several methods of finishing to achieve different effects, many of which don’t require expensive equipment and can easily be done at home with a minimal toolset. Depending on what designs you have had cast, this may also be your introduction to the final stages of stone setting.
After this course you will have the basic skills required to continue making and finishing your own designs at home. If you want to learn more we recommend the Intensive Wax Jewellery course
