Learn how to make your own Mini Creature Creation in our 2hr workshop perfect for kids and families

Give a face to the things that live in your imagination and learn some essential sculpting techniques along the way! This is a great introduction to sculpture. The things you make will be ornaments you can keep forever. I still have some of my childhood creations on display in the studio.

Class Activity

• Learn about polymer clay: A soft clay which can be sculpted then hardened by baking in the oven. You can even paint it afterwards
• Create your creature: Who it is, what it eats, is it friendly. Imagine it and bring it to life. Or you can just start making and see what happens, adding horns, tentacles, fangs… the options are endless
• Learn the art of sculpture: With sculpture, you witness your creation come to life. Every sculpture has its own personality, its own character and its own presence. We will guide you through the process and show you some fundamental concepts of sculpture

Take your creations with you

Everyone leaves with something! We make sure you take home at least one new friend ready to attach to your fridge. You may even decide you would like to paint it

Duration: 2 hours (1.5hrs of sculpting and 30mins for baking and cooling)

Availability: Group sessions Tuesday, Fridays and Saturdays between 9am & 330pm
(class sizes are kept  small so sessions must be booked in advance. Sessions are available most weeks)
