Silversmithing tuition and use of studio facilities

Ideal for recycling your old jewellery!!! Learn new silversmithing skills while accessing our well equipped studio. This course options caters for self motivated designer makers to start silversmithing with proffesional tuition and without having to buy any equipment.

This course fee covers 3 hrs and Includes full use of oxy-acetylene and propane torch, ingot moulds, rolling mills, draw plates, metal linisher, tumbler, thermal linisher for wax, ring stretcher/sizer, micro motors, hand tools, jewellers bench, polishing lathe with polish soaps, pickle, ultrasonic machine, tumbler, wax injector, binocular microscope, ring bender.

It is recommend you bring your own old jewellery for recycling.  Materials are also available at additional cost. Extra hours are also available at $55.00/ hour

Please note that the use of the PUK Welder and the furnace are not included in the SILV08 fee. Please contact us if you would like to use the PUK welder or the furnace as an introduction in their use will be needed before they are used. An additional fee would apply.

Price: $220 (group session) additional hours $55/hr. Materials (if required) are available at additional cost.
Availability: Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays between 9am & 3:30pm

(class sizes are kept very small so sessions must be booked in advance. Sessions are available most weeks)
