Ongoing Wax Jewellery Making

This course expands on skills covered in the Introduction to Wax Jewellery Making course, teaching some more advanced methods of working with wax in your area of interest. You will see that wax is an extremely versatile medium capable of textures, effects & extreme sculptural detail which isn’t possible with traditional silversmithing techniques. Choose designs from the Intensive wax jewellery making course outline or find images of designs on the web. We will work through as many as we can fit into 4 hrs.

Skills covered

• Choose projects from our Intensive Course Manual or some designs you have found online
• Techniques can include etching, miniature sculpture, carving, texturing, experimental techniques
• Create as many designs as we can cover in 4 hours
• This course will further expand your knowledge in your area of interest and open up your mind to the diversity of this remarkable process
