This 70 minute video course takes you step by step through the entire wax process of creating a claw setting. It shows every part of the process and I’ve deliberately done it in a very drawn out and detailed way so you can see exactly what my hands are doing to create this design. If you do have a little experience with wax jewellery making, feel free to skip through the video to the parts you need.
This exercise is suitable for the complete beginner although I would recommend our introduction to wax jewellery making video courses to give you more of a thorough background to some of the basic techniques.

This course is suitable for beginners but recommended that you try our introduction to wax jewellery making course first. Tools and kits available if necessary!

Also included with this purchase are three other video tutorials. The first describes the types of waxes which also describes the materials we use in our courses. If you have never used Freeman’s carvable purple, we recommend you watch this video first although the techniques we teach will work with other available jewellery waxes. The second supplemental video is a guide to packing and posting your wax designs to the casting house. The third supplemental video will describe how you can use mould making to completely open up your jewellery making potential! (Video courses also available)
