Video course: Introduction to Claw Setting – Part 2 – The Metal Finishing Process (30 mins)

This video course the second part of our introduction to claw setting – The Wax Process. In this course we cover the metal finishing process for this design, showing you how to set the Pearl into your silver casting.

This 30 minute video course takes you step by step through the entire process of setting your first stone in a cast silver ring.

This exercise is suitable for the complete beginner although we do recommend you purchase part 1 of this course if you haven’t already

Who is this course for?

This exercise is suitable for the complete beginner although I would recommend our introduction to wax jewellery making video courses to give you more of a thorough background to some of the basic techniques.

We will also be releasing videos of more complex setting designs. Everything will all be individually downloadable meaning you can choose projects and processes to suit your jewellery style and skill level. Learning the principals in these courses will give you the skills you need for a whole range of different aesthetics
