I start off with an insight into the design process, showing sketches leading up to the final concept and then I demonstrate the process of making the wax ring in full utilizing a two claw setting. This setting uses smaller stones than the previous design as well as utilizing a more complex setting method.

This technique will enhance your understanding of stone setting and you will be able to apply these principals to a range of different new aesthetics.

This exercise requires a little experience and it is recommended you first complete our Introduction to claw setting video course (VC-ICS01). We also recommend you purchase part 1 of this course if you haven’t already
