This session is available for those who have some jewellery making experience and want to progress to more advanced procedures.

This facility is particularly useful for designer craftspeople wishing to progress with their skills and those wishing to set up their own studio and students looking for new procedures to enhance their design options

Being able to use various tools to test their viability can save a lot of money.

Our well-equipped studio with specialist tools is made available for the use of the student.  Professional help and guidance is offered with design, manufacturing techniques and the use of specialist tools.

Many other skills such as, chasing, enameling, etching, tool making, and other specialist techniques can be introduced and taught  within this module. Please be in touch with your area of interest

A particularly useful tool in fabrication and repair is the PUK welder. This tool can be a valuable asset. It does have limitations but has many strengths which make it an indispensable tool for the jeweller.

The PUK welder together with an introduction is available within the minimum 4 hour session fee at an additional $50.00 per 30 minutes minimum.

The session is conducted in an unhurried, supportive happy and friendly environment in an air conditioned well-lit large studio.

Price:  The fee is based on a minimum of 4 hours. There are discounts for self organized groups. Please see options below.  Students are free to supply their own materials.

We can supply silver and consumables such as gas, solder etc at a small additional cost.

 

Availability: On selected days to be arranged on booking Weekdays for 1 to 2 participants and Weekends for 3 to 4 participants. Please contact to arrange a suitable time.

Class sessions must be booked in advance. Sorry there are no refunds, but the class can be deferred to an alternative mutually agreed time provided we have at least 12 hours notice.

It is open for a one to one class or self organized groups at discounted participant prices.
